These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the img2htm website, API, plugins and related services (the “Service”) provided by img2htm Inc. (“Company”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service analyzes images you upload, separates text, images, layout and structure, and reconstructs them as HTML, CSS, images and structured data. The Company does not guarantee recovery of any original source code; the output is a visual and semantic equivalent reconstructed from visible information.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your password and API keys secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Credits and payment

Full conversions consume credits. One credit covers one image up to 15,000 vertical pixels; longer images are counted as several credits automatically. Previews are free. Credits for failed conversions are refunded automatically. Other refunds follow the Refund policy. Prices exclude VAT.

4. Acceptable use

You may not: (a) upload images you have no rights to, (b) process unlawful or harmful content, (c) reverse engineer or mass-scrape the Service, (d) circumvent rate limits, (e) use another person's API key.

5. Intellectual property

You retain rights to the images you upload and the output generated from them. The Company receives a non-exclusive license to process them as needed to provide and improve the Service. Enterprise customers may opt out of training use. The Service itself (software, brand, documentation) remains the Company's property.

6. API use

API keys are non-transferable. The Company may set rate limits and suspend keys for abuse. API changes are announced in the changelog; breaking changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is”. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the output. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Company is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Seoul Central District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.

11. Changes

The Company may change these Terms and will announce changes on this page and by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
