img2htm Inc. (“Company”) complies with applicable data protection laws. This policy explains what personal data the img2htm Service collects, why, for how long, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

Account data: email, name, company (optional), password (stored hashed), preferred language
Uploaded content: images you upload for conversion and the generated output
Usage data: IP address, browser information, access times, conversion job metadata, API call logs
Payment data: order history, payment method type, transaction references (card numbers are handled by the payment provider and never stored by us)
Inquiries: what you send us through the contact form or email

2. Purposes

Providing the Service, processing conversions, managing credits and payments
Customer support
Improving quality (excluding enterprise customers who opted out of training use)
Security, abuse prevention and legal compliance
Newsletters, where you consented

3. Retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Uploaded images and outputs are deleted when you delete them or 90 days after last access. Payment and transaction records are kept for 5 years as required by law. Access logs are kept for 3 months.

4. Processors and third parties

We use processors for cloud hosting, payments, email delivery and AI model APIs. Uploaded images may be sent to an AI model API for conversion; we contractually require those providers not to use the data for training. We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties except where required by law.

5. International transfers

Personal data may be transferred abroad depending on the location of cloud and AI infrastructure. Enterprise customers can choose EU or Korean data regions.

6. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, deletion or restriction at any time, edit your profile in the dashboard and delete conversion history yourself. To delete your account, write to us via the contact page.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for login sessions, language preference and guest access to conversion results. See the Cookie Policy.

8. Security

Encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords and API keys, access controls and audit logs.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 14.
