No. An image contains no DOM, class names or scripts. img2htm analyzes the visible result and reconstructs a new, visually faithful and semantically structured web representation.

JPG, PNG and WebP up to 25 MB. For PDFs, export pages as images first. You can also paste an image URL or paste directly from the clipboard.

OCR extracts words. img2htm reconstructs the relationship between words, images, layout and visual hierarchy into HTML you can actually publish.

One credit fully converts one image up to 15,000 vertical pixels. Longer images are counted automatically (e.g. 24,000 px = 2 credits). Previews are free.

You receive free credits on signup, and previews of the top 3,000 px are unlimited and free. The API includes 50 free preview calls per month.

Credits for failed jobs are refunded automatically and immediately. You can see it in your credit history.

Subscriptions grant credits every month at a lower per-page price. Pay-as-you-go credits never expire and are used after subscription credits run out. You can combine both.

Receipts are available under Orders in your dashboard. For tax invoices, add your business details to your profile or contact support.

Every conversion ships with a quality report: text accuracy, visual fidelity, structural accuracy and suggested review areas. On sharp commercial images most pages pass publishing checks without edits, while blurry glyphs or overlapping elements are flagged for review. We do not promise 100% perfection on any image.

Yes. The output uses semantic structure and responsive CSS that reflows at desktop, tablet and mobile widths. Use the device previews on the result page.

Yes. Use Edit text mode on the result page to click and fix sentences, or copy the HTML / download the ZIP and continue in your own editor.

At least 800 px wide, JPG quality 80 or higher, without heavy compression. Original exports work better than screenshots.

Log in and go to Dashboard → API keys. The key is shown only once, so copy it immediately. Send it in the Authorization: Bearer header or the X-Api-Key header.

60 requests per minute per key by default; exceeding it returns 429 with a Retry-After header. Enterprise plans can raise the limit.

Yes. See the Zapier and Make entries in the integrations directory; through them you can connect img2htm to more than 2,000 apps.

Guests can use the free preview. Full conversions, ZIP downloads, dashboard history and the API require a free account.

Use “Forgot your password?” on the login page. We email you a reset link valid for one hour.

Conversion history can be deleted from your dashboard. For account deletion, contact support; we process it within 3 business days.

Images are stored and processed over encrypted connections and deleted when you remove them or 90 days after last access. Enterprise customers can choose a no-training option and a data region.

You own the images you upload and the output generated from them. You must only upload images you have the rights to.
